SUNS HOST BLUECLAWS FOR “NIGHT-DAY DOUBLEHEADER”Starting on Monday, June 30th, the Hagerstown Suns will host the Lakewood BlueClaws for an unusual two-game series as Municipal Stadium will be the host of the Suns’ first-ever Night-Day Doubleheader. Prior to the homestand the Suns visit the Lake County Captains for a two-game series this weekend, June 28-29.

AUSTIN KEARNS TO REHAB IN HAGERSTOWNFor the first time since becoming a Washington Nationals affiliate, the Hagerstown Suns will host a Major League rehabilitation assignment as Austin Kearns will join the team on Thursday, June 26th.

The Suns will be taking on the Delmarva Shorebirds at 7:05 p.m. and gates to Municipal Stadium open at 6:05. Tickets for Thursday’s game are expected to sell quickly. You may order tickets in advance by calling the Suns ticket Office at 301-791-6266.

SUNS START SECOND HALF WITH FIVE GAME HOMESTAND
Begins tonight (Monday)!
The Hagerstown Suns return to Municipal Stadium with a five-game, two series homestand starting tonight, Monday, June 23rd. Game one of the homestand is a Feed-Your-Face Family Night. In addition to getting all-you-can eat food from the Suns concession stands, the Suns are offering a special deal for groups of four or more.
This is the first homestand of the second half. The Suns are 3-1 after the first road series in Delmarva.

SUNS TRIO LEADS SAL NORTH TO VICTORY IN ALL-STAR GAME
Past Tuesday in Greensboro
On a night full of stars, it was the Suns that shone the brightest at the South Atlantic League All-Star game in Greensboro, NC as Hagerstown’s Bill Rhinehart, Michael Burgess and Sean Rooney led the Northern Division to a 13-4 .
Rhinehart went 3-3 with a home-run and three RBI in the game to take home the Star-of-Stars award as the game’s MVP while Burgess won the Home Run Derby and Rooney had an excellent game both offensively and defensively.
